The Story Behind Infinity Retreat Center
Infinity Retreat Center was created from a simple idea, to offer retreat leaders a beautiful, peaceful space where they can bring people together for meaningful experiences.
Founder Cris Ketch spent over a decade building and running a successful fitness studio, working closely with individuals and communities focused on growth, well-being, and connection. Over the years, he saw firsthand the powerful impact that stepping outside of everyday routines can have on personal growth and connection.
After years of leading classes, coaching clients, and dreaming about hosting retreats himself, he decided to create a place that would make it easier for others to bring their retreat visions to life.
Infinity Retreat Center was born from that vision —a grounded, nature-based space created to support meaningful experiences, shared moments, and lasting connection.
Why Ometepe Island
Infinity Retreat Center is located on the magical island of Ometepe, Nicaragua, a place known for its raw natural beauty and deeply grounding energy.
Formed by two volcanoes rising from Lake Nicaragua, Ometepe feels both powerful and peaceful at the same time. Lush jungle landscapes, quiet lakeside beaches, and incredible sunsets create a setting that naturally invites people to slow down and reconnect.
For retreat groups, this environment offers something special — the opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend time immersed in nature, presence, and community.

Infinity Retreat Center was thoughtfully created to support meaningful group experiences in nature.
Each space on the property was designed with intention — from the open-air shala used for movement, workshops, and gatherings, to the quiet sanctuary by the water, to the communal dining space where groups share meals and connect as a community.
The vision was to create a retreat environment that feels simple, peaceful, and grounded in nature, while still offering the essential comforts that retreat leaders and their guests need.
